Delete Your RecallSentry Account

We’re sorry to see you go! You can delete your RecallSentry account using one of the methods below.

⚠️ Important: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be deleted including:

  • Saved recalls
  • Custom filters
  • Notification preferences
  • Account information
  • Subscription data

Deletion Methods

Method 1: Delete In-App (Recommended)

If you still have the RecallSentry app installed:

  1. Open the RecallSentry app
  2. Go to Settings or Profile
  3. Scroll down and tap “Delete My Account”
  4. Confirm deletion
  5. Your account will be permanently deleted immediately

Method 2: Email Request

If you no longer have access to the app:

Send an email to request account deletion:

Email: info@centerforrecallsafety.com

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Include in your message:

    • The email address associated with your account
    • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account
Send Deletion Request

What Happens After Deletion?

In-App Deletion: Your account and all associated data will be deleted immediately.

Email Request: We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email when your account has been deleted.

Data Retention

After account deletion:

  • Personal information (email, profile) is deleted immediately
  • Payment records may be retained for 7 years as required by law
  • Anonymized analytics data may be retained for service improvement
  • Backup copies will be deleted within 90 days

Cancel Subscription First

Important: If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account:

  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
  3. Find RecallSentry
  4. Tap Cancel subscription
